Description:

SUU Hope Corps is a new branch of the SUU Entrepreneurship Center. Due to COVID-19 many small businesses are struggling to stay in business. This position will involve working directly with SUU’s Entrepreneurship Center to assist local businesses with their unique needs with web page development. We are looking for an intern that will be able to efficiently work with our web development, graphic design, and marketing specialist to publish user friendly websites that small business owners can manage by themselves.

Qualifications:

  • Web Design - UX and UI competency
  • Proficient experience with WordPress and plugins, Squarespace, Shopify, and other web development programs
  • Knowledgeable how to create online ordering systems
  • Experience and understanding with CSS, HTML, Javascript and any other necessary coding needed to accomplish goals
  • Multi-task and meet project deadlines +Ability to teach others how to update their web page
  • Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong people/customer service skills required

  • Sample of previous work (websites built, please attach links to websites in resume)
